Tickets are still available for the upcoming, rescheduled Jefferson Area Chamber Annual Dinner.

The event will be held on Thursday, February 27th at the Jefferson Elks Lodge. The evening begins at 5:30pm with a social time and the Greene County High School Jazzatonics will perform. The meal will be served by the Jefferson Does at 6pm, followed by several speakers. The Greene County School District will give updates on the new high school and career academy project and attendees will also hear about the new food pantry from acting manager Shirley Haupert. The event wraps up with the announcement of the 2019 Above and Beyond the Call (ABC) award winner, presented by 2018 recipients Chris and Tracy Deal.

Chamber Board Secretary Jill Morton is excited about the lineup of speakers and the topics they will present.

“As the Chamber, we want to promote our community. It’s important for us to hear about what’s going on and to be updated by local people and local businesses. Because they have a big investment in this community and we need to hear from them.”

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center. RSVPs are encouraged by February 21st.
