The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will consider for approval a revised county handbook from law firm Ahlers & Cooney today.

Following discussion and action over the handbook, the Board will consider a third appropriations resolution for the current fiscal year for the Attorney’s, Recorder’s, and Sheriff’s offices. The Board declined appropriating the remaining 25 percent of their budgets last November as those department heads weren’t in favor of the new handbook. The Board will also consider a resolution for elected officials’ salaries, schedule a public hearing on the proposed property tax levy for next fiscal year, and receive department updates.

The Board meets at 9 a.m. at the Guthrie County Courthouse.
