Several suspects were arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail last week.

According to the Jefferson Police Department, 18-year-old Devin Villalobos was arrested in the 1100 block of South Elm Street on Monday, February 3rd. Villalobos is charged with a Class C Felony for third-degree sexual abuse. The charge stemmed from an investigation that was reported on January 20th that Villalobos engaged in sex acts with a 13-year-old female.

Authorities also arrested 39-year-old James Inman of Des Moines on Monday, February 3rd. Inman is charged with a Class B Felony for ongoing criminal conduct, and Class D Felonies for second-degree theft and eight counts of forgery. The charges stemmed from an investigation by the police department on January 10th. Inman allegedly stole several checks from the victim and cashed them for over $4,700.

Finally, officers also arrested 26-year-old Dakota Bishop of Jefferson on Tuesday, February 4th at a residence in the 500 block of North Vine Street. Bishop is charged with a Class D Felony for forgery. The charge stemmed from an executed search warrant at the same residence on January 24th. Officers found $1,000 of play money that was allegedly altered and used to pay back a loan that the victim gave to Bishop. 

All three suspects were booked into the Greene County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
