The two top girls basketball team in the West Central Activities Conference took the court Thursday.

The 13th ranked Panorama girls team came into the night with a 15-2 record after rattling off 15 consecutive wins. Des Moines Christian currently ranked 6th in Class 3A and held a 17-1 record. Panorama jumped out to a strong 11-4 lead. The Lions slowly started to close that gap until the deficit was just five entering the final quarter. Panorama was able to keep DMC at bay and held on for a 51-48 victory.  Panorama needed a huge night from their lone senior in Anna Holloway who led the Panthers with 16 points, shot 60% from behind the three-point line and hit 75% of her free throws.

Panorama will try to win their 17th straight game tonight when they host I-35.
