According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, at about 7 a.m. 39-year-old Justin Joseph Slaybaugh of Guthrie Center was plowing snow in emergency mode with his warning lights activated. Slaybaugh was northbound on 4th Street at the intersection of Newton Street when he failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and struck an eastbound Ford Edge driven by 26-year-old Levi Alexander Derry of Guthrie Center.
