The Raccoon River conference woes continued for the Perry girls basketball team Tuesday night as Winterset defeated Perry 64-24 in conference girls action.  The 40 point outcome was a stark contrast to the 54-51 Winterset win back in December in the team’s first meeting.  Winterset led 15-11 after the first quarter but then put the game away in the second quarter eventually holding Perry to 8 points total over an 18 minute stretch.  Winterset dominated the boards and put the game away with second and third chance points.

Jayna Kenney led Perry with 11 points.  The Jayettes fall to 0-10 in the conference and will travel to top ranked Ballard Friday night.
