wcv-10

The West Central Valley boys basketball team was able to put on a good showing in Stuart on Tuesday Night, but unfortunately came up just a little bit short falling by the score of 78-32 against ACGC. WCV got out to a slow start as ACGC was able to jump out to a 30 point lead before the Wildcats were able to put in their first field goal of the night.

After the slow start, West Central Valley played much better basketball the rest of the way, though the defeat means that they continue their long losing streak.

The girls were able to get a nice win to move their record to 11-8 on the year winning by the score of 62-49. Sydney Neal had 19 in the game as WCV was able to put together one of their strongest performances of the season and able to hold serve on the game down home in Stuart.

Both teams will be back on the court on Friday as the girls look to continue to build a winning streak and the boys look to continued process as the regular season gets closer to winding down.
