Jefferson and surrounding residents are invited to a new business promotion on the downtown square in Jefferson.

The Retail Revamped Committee is hosting a Chocolate Walk event tomorrow from 4-7pm. Committee member Rosie Tucker describes some of the details of the event.

“They’ll probably find a beverage or two, Heidi at Addie’s is very famous for that. I know The Printer’s Box sells (chocolate) truffles and I’m not quite so sure that Bonnie (Silbaugh) at Fudge’s (Flowers and Gifts) does not as well. So I’m going to come up with my own little theme, as well as Steve Schwaller (owner of Royal Jewelers) and the rest of us that will be open downtown. So come join us, we might have something different.”

Participating retailers will also have Valentine’s Day specials, as well as offering free samples of chocolate creations and beverages.
