adm-7

The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers have had some very tough luck this year in close games, and unfortunately the trend was unable to reverse on Tuesday night against the league leader Carroll falling by the score of 65-61 in Adel. The loss drops ADM to 8-8 on the year, though seven of their eight losses have been by 4 points or less.

The Tigers trailed by three late in the fourth before Tate Stine-Smith hit a three with just over a minute to go to tie the game at 59 a piece. On the other end, a foul was called against ADM and then a technical foul was called against the home team after a complaint about the call from one of the players, giving Carroll an opportunity to take the lead on free throws which they did. ADM had a chance to tie the game late, but were unable to hit the floater as Carroll was able to escape out of Adel to move to 14-1 on the season.

Nate Mueller led ADM with 21 points on the night, as the Tigers look to regroup before they get back on the road for another RCC battle on Friday against Bondurant
