The Stuart Public Library has some free activities for kids to occupy their downtime from school the next couple months.

New Assistant Librarian Katie Reynolds is organizing the programs, with the first taking place tomorrow, “We are going to be doing fortune cookie Valentine’s so it’s just kind of a paper craft. Kids get to make their own paper fortune cookie to give away for Valentine’s (Day) and then they can do some other Valentine’s Day crafts.”

The program will be held during West Central Valley’s early out at 1:30 p.m. and is free to attend. There will also be free kids activities at the same time on Monday February 17th, Friday March 13th, and all throughout spring break, March 16-20th. Preregistration is not required, and Reynolds looks forward to doing some crafts, cooking, and even conduct some experiments with area kids.
