The Perry Public Library has an assortment of popular monthly activities, and one of the most successful has been the Lego Club.

The first Wednesday afternoon of each month, children in first through fifth grade are invited to “Legos at the Library.” The program is led by Children’s Librarian Suzanne Kestel, and this month’s event will be held tomorrow starting at 3:30 p.m. in the library’s large meeting room. Library Director Mary Murphy says the kids and staff alike have found the club to be a fun time. “Well, the first half hour of the program is an activity with a theme with the Legos. And then the next part of the program is freestyle. They’ve been having a ball! (They) come in, play with Legos, be creative, (and) interact with Miss Suzanne. It’s a win-win for everybody!”

There is no cost or registration required to take part in the Perry Lego Club. For more information, stop in or call the library at 515-465-3569.
