Those looking for a unique Valentine’s Day gift and who want to support a local Greene County cause can do so through the Greene County Extension office.

The Greene County 4-H Young Leaders are having a chocolate covered strawberry fundraiser. A half dozen of the edible treats are $10 and a dozen is $18. Greene County Extension Director Lori Mannel invites everyone to support the Young Leaders.

“So we’re very excited to teach the kids philanthropy, cooking, marketing, (and) handling the finances. But if you’re interested give us a call, we can take your order, or see one of your favorite Greene County 4-H’ers.”

Deadline to place an order is tomorrow. Expected delivery is the day before Valentine’s Day or on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.
