The official caucus results have been announced for Greene County.
According to the Greene County Democratic Party, 362 people participated in the seven precincts. Former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg led the field with 16 delegates for the county convention. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders received 15 delegates, Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar earned 10 delegates, six delegates went to former Vice President Joe Biden, and one delegate each went to Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and businessman Tom Steyer. To receive a delegate, a candidate must have had at least 15-percent of the total attendance at a precinct site.
As for the Republican caucus, of the seven precincts reporting, 132 votes went to the incumbent, President Donald Trump. There was one additional vote for challenger Bill Weld. See the results below for the Greene County Democratic Caucus.
