Avid bicyclists and spectators are invited to the 43rd Annual Bike Ride Rippey happening today.
Participants will leave Perry at 10am and head up to Rippey. There riders and the general public can find several food and beverage options. The Rippey Lions Club is serving roast beef sundaes, along with chili, bars, water, coffee and hot chocolate at the Community Center. The United Methodist Church has a baked potato bar with toppings, along with chili, cheese soup, pies, bars, hot chocolate, coffee and water. The Friends of Rippey and The Thirsty Pig are offering alcohol and soft drinks on Main Street, with part of the proceeds to benefit the town’s sesquicentennial celebration this summer.
The bike riders will then head back to Perry for a party and more entertainment.
