Officers were recently elected to serve the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Guthrie County Council.

The nine-member Council held their organizational meeting on January 22nd for the annual election. Former vice chairperson Chad Sheley of Casey is the newly elected chairperson, and Dustin Clark of Guthrie Center was elected vice chairperson. Anna Kastner of Yale and Jim Calvert of Guthrie Center were reelected as secretary and treasurer, respectively. The Council is the governing body for the Guthrie County Extension office, and hires county staff, manages the county extension budget, and helps determine programming.
