The high school wrestling dual meet regular season ends tonight for the Greene County Rams with a trip to Huxley to face Ballard and Perry, both Raccoon River Activities member teams. Coach Zach Beekman’s Rams are 22-4 in dual meets. Ballard is 18-4 and Perry is 6-14. All three have highly regarded and top 10 ranked wrestlers in Class 2A.

After tonight, all that’s left on Greene County’s regular season schedule is the ACGC Charger Invitational in Guthrie Center. The JV portion starts at 8 a.m. Saturday with the varsity tournament set to begin at 11 a.m.

The Rams go to Adel on Feb. 8 to begin the postseason in a Class 2A Sectional tournament with six other teams. ADM hosts the Rams, Atlantic, Creston, Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) Panorama, and Winterset.
