Whether you can’t make it to the contests this year, or don’t know what high school speech looks like, everyone’s invited to Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center’s annual large group speech showcase.

Over 50 students are on the ACGC speech team this year, coached by Kelsey Moran, Colin Shawgo, Staci Penton, and Zoie Shook. The team competed at the district large group contest at Woodward-Granger High School last weekend, where nine out of 12 entries earned Division I ratings, advancing to the state contest happening at Waukee High School Saturday, February 8th. The public can view all these performances at the showcase beginning at 6:30 p.m tomorrow in the high school auditorium. A freewill donation will be accepted at the door.
