Freshmen Jena Young of the Winterset Huskies looks like a star in the making, and built another impressive performance on her resume last night with 41 points on the night, leading the Huskies to an upset 62-59. The 41 was an impressive mark, which is a Winterset school record for points. Young’s speed forced ADM to back off of her, and she was able to hit jumper after jumper, as she dominated on the offensive and defensive ends.

It was an exciting game that lead to a last second look for the Tigers, but they weren’t able to hit the shot. Abbie Hlas led the team with 21 points, a night after setting ADMs school record for points in a game with 36.

History was made once again last night, unfortunately for ADM, they weren’t on the side that would want to be on, as they move to 10-5 on the year after the loss.
