Coach Zach Beekman’s Greene County High School wrestling team competed on the home mats for the final time this season when they hosted ADM and Colfax-Mingo on Tuesday night in the middle school gym. Entering the night 20-4 in dual meets, the Rams went 2-0 to improve to 22-4. Greene County edged ADM 39-36 and won 54-27 over C-M, while ADM rolled over C-M 66-18.

Rams going 2-0 on the night were freshman McKinley Robbins (106), sophomore Brenner Gallagher (113), junior Joe Davis (145), sophomore Nathan Black (152), and junior Sawyer Schiltz (220). Greene County wrestlers that were 1-1 were senior Braden Gallagher (120), junior Chance McCollum (126), sophomore John Sprague (132), junior Brady Stauffer (138), senior Will  Hansen (160), and Matt Naberhaus (285).

The dual meet regular season ends tomorrow night in Huxley vs. Ballard, Perry, and Humboldt. The regular season comes to a close this Saturday in Guthrie Center at the ACGC Charger Invitational. Class 2A Sectional wrestling starts the postseason for the Rams in Adel on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 12 p.m.
