The West Central Valley girls basketball team was looking to stop a long losing streak against the Panthers of Panorama, but couldn’t hold their halftime lead on Monday and lost by the score of 60-54. West Central Valley led by two at the break on Monday, but Panorama made some key plays and got some big stops in the second half to pull off the win.

The girls are having a solid year, but still only have one home win after the loss on Monday. They will get some more opportunities in the future though with four of their last six games at home.

The girls team moves to 8-7 on the year, but doesn’t have much time to dwell on the loss, as they continue West Central Activities Conference play against Madrid tonight in Stuart.
