Panorama hit the hardwood Monday night.
The Panthers made the quick trip to Stuart to face off against WCAC foe West Central Valley. The 14th ranked Panorama girl’s team took the court first to try and extend their winning streak, while West Central Valley had their eyes set on taking down the Panthers for the first time since 2009. Panorama got off to a hot start and lead 22-13 after the first quarter and looked like it would be a quick night. Then West Central Valley found their rhythm and outscored Panorama 20-9 in the second to take a two-point advantage into halftime. Panorama was able to regain the lead in the third and held on to win 60-54. They leaned on a huge night from Payton Beckman who scored 30.
Panorama improves to 13-2 and increased their win streak to a baker’s dozen. The Panthers will see their 14th win in a row Friday when make the trip to Earlham.
