As the 2020 Iowa Caucuses grow ever closer, the presence of Presidential candidates and their surrogates in the area continues to increase. A member of the latter group will be paying a visit to Perry Wednesday afternoon.

Dr. Jill Biden will make her second trip to Perry, campaigning for her husband former Vice President and current Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden. The former second lady will be at the Perry Perk Coffee Shop tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. She previously visited Perry on December 1st, holding a campaign rally at La Poste, and Joe Biden himself visited the same venue a few weeks afterwards. Tomorrow’s event is free to attend and open to the public.

The former Vice President is one of 12 individuals vying for the Democratic nomination for President in the June primary election, and he and several surrogates have been seeking support in Iowa prior to the nation’s first caucus this coming Monday.
