Jefferson and Greene County area 3rd and 4th graders are encouraged to join an upcoming winter program through the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

“Mini-Basketball” will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 28th-February 13th from after school to 4:30pm at the Greene County Community Center. Participants will learn the fundamentals of basketball, including dribbling, shooting, passing and defense. Transportation will be provided from Greene County Elementary School, but parents will need to pick up their child each night of the program. 

Cost to participate is $10 for community center members and $15 for non-members. The deadline to register is January 27th.
