The Greene County Extension Council recently elected new officers for 2020.

Shari Minnihan of Churdan, is the chairperson, and Bruce Bahnson of Jefferson is the vice-chair. Minnihan will oversee all council meetings and she has the authority to call special meetings and perform duties as the chairperson of a board of directors of a corporation. Jessi Riley of Rippey is the secretary and Pam Olerich of Jefferson is the treasurer. 

The nine-person council is the governing entity of Greene County ISU Extension and Outreach. The Council is responsible for hiring county extension staff, manages the $320,000 budget and helps determine programming.
