The West Central Valley girls basketball team had a great night against the Lady Eagles of Saydel, improving their record to 8-6 on the year with a nice victory. West Central Valley was able to get some good play all night long, as the starters started out of the gate quickly and the reserves coming in and playing quality minutes off the bench.
The girls team is of to their best start since the 2015-16 season, and their first winning record on the season since 2010-11. West Central Valley was done a great job this year of mixing a blend of youth and experience in the roster, and continue to be one of the most improved teams in the West Central Activities Conference.
The girls and boys will have their next game on Monday when they have host Guthrie County Rival Panorama in Stuart.
