Students from across Guthrie County will be heading to the first event of the 2020 speech season tomorrow.

Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center and Panorama students will be competing at the district large group contest at Woodward-Granger High School and West Central Valley will head to Creston High School. ACGC has 52 students performing in the categories of one act, readers theatre, choral reading, musical theatre, ensemble acting, improv, mime, and radio news. Panorama has around 40 students participating in choral reading, readers theater, ensemble acting, musical theater, improv, and TV news. West Central Valley has 15 students performing in three improv groups as well. Students that receive a division I rating will advance at the state large group contest February 8th, with the hope of being selected for the All-State Festival on February 22nd in Ames.
