The ADM Tigers held a 9 point lead at halftime on Tuesday night at Dallas Center Grimes, but weren’t able to come away with the victory as DCG sustained a big run in the second half and got the victory 63-59. ADM got out to an early led behind the hot shooting of senior Jaxson Millsap’s 11 points and Nate Mueller’s six in the quarter, and led by 12.
The third quarter was the difference in the game, as DCG went to a box and one on Mueller, which took the ADM offense out of rhythm, and got outscored in the quarter 21-7. Luke Rankin, created problems for ADM all quarter long with his deep range shooting, which helped lead DCG in points on the night.
Millsap and Stine-Smith were both in double figures for the Tigers team, as the loss drops them to 5-6 on the year, though 5 of those losses have come by 4 points or less. ADM will be looking for a little revenge on Friday night at home against Ballard.
