The West Central Valley Wildcats participated in a boy/girl doubleheader on Monday night against Colfax-Mingo, and split the two games with the girls getting the victory by the score of 57-39, while the boys competed but couldn’t come away with the victory falling by 25, 76-51.
The girls got going early and often as they were able to get some easy transition buckets that ultimately led to easy points. The visitors were able to withstand a couple of runs from the home team, and did a great job of maintaining composure while advancing to a 7-5 mark on the year.
The boys competed hard but just couldn’t get over the hump. They had nice days from Jake Egger and Hunter Keller, as they had 19 points and 15 points respectively.
The Wildcats will both be having a quick turnaround tonight, when they go back on the road, this time a shorter trip to Woodward-Granger.
