The 2020 Iowa Caucuses are less than two weeks away, so caucusgoers are reminded of new rules, as well as locations for the event.
The change to the caucusing process is only different on the Democratic Party side, with Republicans maintaining a secret ballot formula. For the Democrats, one new rule is that if your group is viable after the first count, even if in the undecided group, you are unable to change candidates after that. Only those in groups whose candidates are not viable are able to shift to a different group. The other change is how the results will be presented, which will first be according to first expression of preference, followed by final preference, and then the amount of allocated delegates. The Democratic National Committee hopes the changes will give the process more transparency and less contention, which were issues in the 2016 Caucuses.
As for the locations of the February 3rd proceedings, in Dallas County there are several sites for the individual precincts in both parties.
