The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will start with a budget funding request from the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance, followed by consideration of cyber insurance coverage through the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool. At 9:30 a.m., there will be a public hearing for the first reading of an amendment to the local option sales and services tax. The Board will then set the time and date to receive and open bids for the new courtroom and Ortonville Lagoon demolition projects. They will also set public hearings for a lawn care contract and a road vacation.
Other items on the agenda include a Sheriff’s Office vehicle purchase request, and an access agreement with the City of Adel for their water main project. The session will conclude with a budget workshop with the Emergency Medical Services Department, and an update on the Central Iowa Workforce Development compliance for region 11. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
