Greene County and surrounding residents are invited to a free event in Jefferson.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is hosting an “End the Silence” presentation at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 7pm. The event focuses on evidence-based mental health awareness. Attendees will learn about the warning signs of mental illness/suicides, as well as who to talk to and how to end the silence. Additionally, there will be speakers sharing their personal mental health stories.

There will be two presentations, happening at the same time. One will be for middle and high school students and the other is for adults and caregivers. No pre-registrations are necessary for the free event.
