The Greene County Board of Supervisors met Thursday.
During open forum, Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams shared a 2019 report of calls for service, investigations and a jail report. The Board took no action following the report.
The Board then approved the County Treasurer’s investment report of $11,458,000 for December and issuing 288 driver’s licenses. Next, the Board approved the Treasurer’s Semi-Annual report for July through December of collecting $26,412,000 in revenues and $20,697,000 for expenses. The Board set February 3rd at 9am as the public hearing for the 2021 fiscal budget proposal for the Emergency Management Department.
The meeting ended with several county department 2021 fiscal year budget proposals. The departments included veteran affairs services, conservation, auditor and elections. The Board took no action on the budget proposals.
