A fun outdoor activity in Greene County could return this weekend.

Greene County Conservation Director Dan Towers says the sledding hill at Seven Hills Park opens when it meets certain criteria.

“Saturdays and Sundays, once we have four inches of snow, from 1 o’clock (pm) to 4 o’clock (pm) we will have sledding (with) a tow rope that returns you up the hill from there. So if you like good old fashioned sledding that’s still available too.”

Towers adds, the sledding hill is free and open to the public. Additionally, there is a shelter house and anyone can bring their own warm beverages. He notes, everyone must bring their own sled, as none are available at the site.
