A reception for the inaugural Greene County High School Athletics Hall of Fame Class is tonight at 6 o’clock in the high school commons area and the public is welcome to this free event. Honorees are Trisha Waugh-Pipkins, Kristi Kinne-Hayes, Brent Mac Lagan, Bill Kibby, and the Class 2A 1994 high school girls’ State Champion track & field squad.

Greene County Activities Director Todd Gordon told Raccoon Valley Radio the public will be able to visit with the inductees until about 6:45 p.m. when the event will shift to the theater where the honorees will speak about the high school experiences here.

The actual induction ceremony is set for in between Ram basketball games tomorrow night when Greene County hosts Gilbert in the middle school gym in Jefferson, weather permitting.
