A new restaurant is opening tomorrow in Grand Junction.
The 30 Yard Line is on Highway 30 in Grand Junction, where the former Ferg’s restaurant was located. Four local couples own the business, including Tony and Traci Beger, Jeff and Regina Thorpe, Bob and Jenny Ross and Andy and Mandy Kreiger. Traci Beger tells Raccoon Valley Radio they took ownership of the property at the end of September. She says they have completely renovated the interior with new floor, walls, ceiling, along with the kitchen, tables, chairs and bar top. They also added an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible family restroom.
Traci talks about all of the owners working together on the restaurant.
“It’s been going really well. There are all different personalities (but) we’ve made it work. So everyone kind of has their own little expertise. Our main purpose was, we just felt like our community needed to have something like this opened back up.”
The grand opening of the new sports-themed restaurant is tomorrow starting at 4pm. Traci says the menu will feature burgers, sandwiches and appetizers and will add more specials and other food items in the near future. The hours that the 30 Yard Line will be open are: Monday-Thursday from 4-9pm, with the bar being open from 4pm-midnight, Friday and Saturday from 4-10pm and the bar from 4pm-2am and Sunday from 11am-7pm and the bar from 11am-8pm. Traci notes, they will add lunch hours in the next few weeks.
