The Greene County High School Junior Class is once again hosting a tradition to help raise money for this year’s prom.

The Junior Class Chili Supper will take place this Friday at the Jefferson Elks Lodge. The meal of chili, crackers, relishes, a dessert, and milk or coffee, will be served from 5-7pm. It will be during the high school girls and boys basketball MEGA Night games against Gilbert at the middle school gym and the Greene County Community Center. Additionally, the first Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place between the girls and boys contests. The high school jazz band will also perform at 5:15 and 6:15pm. 

Tickets for the chili fundraiser at $6 each for those six and older and anyone five and under can eat for free. Chili refills are $1 and milk refills are $0.50. Meals can also be delivered to homes by contacting Junior Class Advisor Teresa Green at 515-386-2188. Proceeds will go to the 2020 junior-senior prom that is on April 4th.
