With the start of a new year, the Jefferson Area Chamber is looking for additional board members.

In 2019, the Chamber gained three new board members, including Dr. Philip Heisterkamp with Greater Life Chiropractic as vice president, Jill Morton with Mid-Iowa Insurance as secretary and Taylor Anglemeyer with Medicap Pharmacy as a board member. Morton says they are looking for additional board members that must be chamber members.

“If they’re not a (chamber) member or work for a business that is a member, they can join as an individual, if they would like. We would have them come to a board meeting, talk to us and tell us why they would want to be a part of our board, and then we would vote on it. But yeah we are looking for at least two more board members if we could.”
