The Greene County Early Learning Center recently helped families in need with a generous donation.

GCELC Board Co-President Jacque Andrew says they donated over 530 items to the Greene County Action Resource Center (ARC) in Jefferson. GCELC Director Cherie Cerveny told Raccoon Valley Radio they held a holiday food drive from November 27th-December 20th. The reason why they did a food drive for the ARC was because a few of their kids talked about poverty at school and they wanted to help. 

The Early Learning Center is a non-profit organization that provides care to children from two-weeks-old through fourth grade.
