New information has been released by the National Weather Service in regards to expected snow events this weekend.
The National Weather Service has upgraded Dallas County to a winter storm warning until tomorrow morning, while Greene and Guthrie counties are under a winter weather advisory until tomorrow morning. Parts of Dallas County could see as much as eight inches of snowfall, while Greene and Guthrie counties could see as much as six inches. The bulk of the snowfall is expected to happen tonight and taper off tomorrow morning. Strong winds will also make travel difficult, with as high as 33-miles-per-hour wind gusts.
