The West Central Valley Wildcats return to the mat today to take part in a wrestling meet against multiple schools at Tri-Center. The Wildcats will be taking on Tri-Center, Interstate-35, and Logan Magnolia, three opponents that all have good individual wrestlers but opportunities for the Wildcats to pick up some wins.
West Central Valley has had some great individual performances on the year so far, but Weston Pote has been putting up some great numbers, leading the team in wins at 15 and in points as well at 83. 11 of those 15 wins have come via the fall so far, as Pote has stayed competitive in nearly every single meet he has taken place in so far.
Pote and his teammates will look for a good run tonight, and hope to put on a good showing in West Central Activities Conference play.
