Ahead of the start of the 2020 Iowa Legislative Session, Greene County residents are invited to hear from their state lawmakers.

The Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board is hosting the “Meet Your Legislator” series this year, with the first one to take place Saturday at 11am at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center in Jefferson. District 47 Representative Phil Thompson of Jefferson and District 24 Senator Jerry Behn of Boone will be discussing their expectations for the upcoming session and address questions from the audience. 

This is the second year that the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board is hosting the events. Paton-Churdan and Greene County students are encouraged to attend and will be recognized at the event. No pre-registration is necessary for the free forum.
