Information meetings for Guthrie County’s March 3rd special election are beginning tonight.
The first of 12 meetings being held throughout the County is at 7 p.m. tonight at the Menlo Community Building. The next meetings are Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Stuart Fire Department, Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Bayard Community Building and at 1:30 p.m. at the Whiterock Conservancy Visitor Center.
Representatives from the Guthrie County Board of Supervisors, Sheriff’s Office, Shive-Hattery Architecture and Engineering and project manager The Samuels Group will be informing the public on the purpose of the $8.7 million bond referendum vote for a law enforcement center addition to the Guthrie County Courthouse and improvements to its parking lot.
