A former Democratic nominee for President of the United States will be visiting Dallas County tomorrow to campaign for an individual hoping to earn that distinction in June.

John Kerry – the former Massachusetts Senator, Presidential nominee in 2004, and Secretary of State under President Barack Obama – will be in Adel Wednesday to promote the candidacy of former Vice President Joe Biden. Kerry is part of the “We Know Joe” bus tour that is travelling across the state this week and includes several other notable Biden supporters. Kerry’s leg of the tour will bring him to the Adel Family Fun Center, with the doors to open at noon and the event to commence at 12:30 p.m.

There is no cost to attend the event, though RSVPs are recommended. Kerry famously came from several points behind prior to winning the 2004 Iowa Caucuses and earning the Democratic nomination for President that year. He worked closely with Biden under Obama, and has endorsed the former Vice President. Biden is one of 14 individuals in the Democratic race leading up to the 2020 Caucuses.
