The first Chamber Coffee of 2020 for the Perry Chamber of Commerce is this week, and the public is invited to the monthly networking event.
The host for the January meet-up is the Perry Grand 3 Theater, located on 2nd Street downtown. Owner Eric Tiernan says he’s looking forward to hosting the Coffee, and he hopes it will be well attended by Chamber members and the public alike. “It’s a good time to visit with fellow business people, there’s a lot of them down here that I don’t know. And one of our goals in 2020 is get more involved in city functions and social type things, to put a face to the ownership of the theater and not be considered an outsider. So that’s one reason we’re doing that this year. And you’re welcome to go look around and see whatever you want. If you’ve got ideas throw them out at me, and I’ll take them and see what we can do with it.”
The event will be held Friday at 8 a.m. and should last about an hour. There is no cost to attend and refreshments will be provided. The Perry Chamber hosts the Coffees on the second Friday of every month as a way to get people together to network and learn more about what’s going on in the City.
