A Bayard man was recently sentenced to serve time in prison after violating his probation for two previous offenses.

Court documents show 25-year-old Zachary Michael Anderson Wailes was found to have violated his probation for a second time on December 4th, for previous crimes of driving while barred and domestic abuse assault – impeding air flow. He previously pled guilty to violating his probation on October 15th and was ordered to serve three days in jail. Wailes will now be incarcerated for up to two years for each offense, to be served consecutively. His original offenses occurred in April and May of 2018.
