Jefferson Parks and Recreation is offering a youth program focused on developing cheerleading skills.

The Mini Cheer program will be from 5-6pm on Tuesday, January 14th and Thursday, January 16th at the Greene County Community Center. It is for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade kids, who will learn the skills needed to be a cheerleader. Participants will then perform at halftime of the Greene County High School home varsity girls basketball game on January 17th. 

The fee to participate is $10 for community center members and $15 for non-members. The deadline to register is January 8th. Call the community center at 515-386-3412 or stop by to sign up.
