It’s been a quiet few weeks for the Adel Public Library, but they’ll be making up for it later this month with several free programs.
On Monday, January 13th, the library will welcome back the always popular “Critter” Cindy Blobaum from Dallas County Conservation. She will be the special guest for story time that day, which will start at 10:30 a.m. Next, kids and families are invited to an event featuring Kate Courtney of Muddy Boots Forest Camp. She will help attendees enjoy nature together with a series of stories and activities on Wednesday, January 15th at 10:30 a.m.
Finally, the library will begin a series of “Friday Fun” events on January 17th, showing the film “Abominable” in the community room at 2:30 p.m. The series will also include Marshmallow Madness on the 24th, and Drop-In Crafts on the 31st. Each of the programs is free to attend and registration is not required. To learn more about these and other upcoming events at the Adel Library, stop in or visit their website, AdelPL.org.
