After a hiatus last year the Panora Chamber of Commerce is bringing back an event for young area basketball players.

The Chamber Challenge is a basketball tournament for sixth through eighth grade teams. The tournament will take place at the Veterans Auditorium in Panora, and at the Panorama secondary building. Panora Chamber of Commerce President Amanda Creen shares how she feels bringing back the event which raises funds for the annual town celebration, “We’re super excited to offer it. We had to take a year off and we want to make sure that we’re doing the best that we can do to raise funds for Panorama Days 2020 so it’s exciting to kick off our first fundraiser for that in 2020.”

Creen adds that the games will be full court with certified officials. The entry fee is $150 per team, and the deadline to sign up is February 3rd. For more information email chamber@panora.org.
