Both Panorama basketball teams will return to the hardwood following the holiday break.

The Panther girl’s team will hit the hardwood Friday night in the first half a double header against Ogden. Panorama is 5-2 on the season and are have won five straight.  Ogden will be looking to end a six game skid and earn their second victory of the season. Payton Beckman has started the season on fire. The sophomore is currently leading the entire WCAC with 18.6 points per game. Her last time out, she exploded for 22 points against Guthrie County foe AC/GC and hit several high-pressure free throws down the stretch to seal the game for the Panthers.

The Panther boy’s team will be looking to build on their 5-1 start. They’ve been led offensively by Malachi Peasly who put on a clinic against AC/GC scoring 30 points en route to a dominant victory. His 17.2 points per game is tied for fourth best in the conference. Teammate Zach Rizuti isn’t far behind averaging 16 points in their first six games.

The girls game is set to tip-off at 6 p.m. tonight in Ogden.
