Nick Breon is a Greene County High School senior involved in four sports, so when he made his college choice, one sport wasn’t enough. Breon announced shortly before Christmas he would attend Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls where he plans to play football and baseball. He’s been an All-District performer in both sports for the Rams, where he also plays basketball and has been a thrower on the track & field squad.
Caden Duncan is the head football coach at Greene County. The coach said playing two sports in college is a challenge, but one he thinks Nick can handle. “It’s definitely a challenge. Playing two sports in college is rare, but I think Nick can do a good job with that and he’s ready for that. I’m excited to watch him develop over there in Iowa Falls and I think he’ll have a chance to play pretty early in both those sports. It’ll be good for him and I’m excited to see him grow and perform.”
Breon is part of a large and talented senior class of male athletes at Greene County High School.
